Over the past few years I have been studying the history of Mexico, with its exciting, dramatic and tragic past. The Verdadera Historia de México podcast has been an indispensable resource for me, and I'm fortunate to be able to enjoy it in Spanish. Here is a personal project I am working on to get the most out of my learning experience.

This podcast episode provided herein is about the events surrounding the death of Gustavo A. Madero. It is one tragedy that transpired over 10 tumultous days called the "Decena Trágica". Francisco I. Madero, then president of Mexico was overthrown with the blessing of top Mexican generals and an American ambassador. See www.loc.gov/exhibits/mexican-revolution-and-the-united-states/interactive-map.html. i provide some historical resources below, which I believe to be valid references for those days of February 9-19, 1913.
